Description	This article deals with the greatest problems with ambitions to build a modern joint telecommunication and data network in the Czech Armed Forces. The aim of this article is to show in a few specific examples the most problematic parts of modernization of current data network, and voice and video implementation, not only in the Czech Armed Forces. This article is not going to talk about budget and financial systems necessary for that kind of project, but about technical reasons why it is too difficult to even start it. At the end of this article there is pointed out one of the big black hole on IT market.
