Description
  • The abilities of contemporary CAS (Maple, Mathematica, Matlab and others) have increased substantially, they are able to realize symbolical evaluations, visualize complex plane and space objects, to perform complicated numerical evaluations, and so on. The amount of lessons in the part time and distance form of study is rather small, teachers have only limited possibilities to make students acquainted with more complicated problems, applications of various topics and to practice more thoroughly routine procedures. That is why the use of CAS in teaching can increase considerably the quality of preparation of students in this form of study and help them understand better new subjects.
