Description
  • The issue of deployment of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles /Systems (UAV/Ss) as the assets for training the troops (aerial targets), reconnaissance or as air attack and combat systems has been widely elaborated and implemented since recently. Multiple studies are under development at the time as well as tests conducted in the area of group-deployment of UAVs. The UAVs should cooperate on the multiple-asset basis, especially on the tactical level, when they can easily complement each other, cooperate closely, and play fully the role of the comprehensive combat-effective UAV formation. It is becoming increasingly apparent that sooner or later the configured and coordinated multiple flying objects become the real Means of Air Attack (“MAA”) and therefore they come to the Air Defence (“AD”) focus. The principal objective of this paper is to highlight this – currently neglected – aspect of the rapidly developing cyber branch and to contribute to a complex recognition, especially from the operational and system points of view.
