Description	The limitedness and scarcity of resources is a general problem that concerns also various organisational units of the state system and raises the need to optimise the decision-making process and its effective allocation. The University of Defence plays key role in the training of Czech Army military professionals. One of the cardinal issues and simultaneously problems of strategic management generally is measurement and judgment of institution performance. Because of financing public sector institutions via redistributing process, the decision about optimum amount for this institution is very often difficult. One of the way, how we can prevent wasting and unsuitable allocation of resources, is creating such motivational system of organization financing, which would to allow the distribution of finance on the basis of quality and quantity performance. The aim of this essay is approach description to measurement of the performance within process of preparation and education of military professionals under conditions of Defence University in Brno.
