Description
| - Four pairs of Ia1 brain neurons were identified as a likely site of the central biological clock of the silkworm. They simultaneously express CRY (a photosensitive protein providing for clock synchronization with the ambient photoperiod), PER, DBT and CYC (components of the clock oscillator), and aaNAT (enzyme involved in the clock output). All identified antigens occur concurrently also in two cells of the frontal ganglion. Two or three antigens were simultaneously detected in small numbers of neurons in the brain and suboesophageal ganglion

- Čtyři páry mozkových neuronů Ia1 jsou pravděpodobným sídlem ústředních biologických hodin bource. Obsahují protein CRY důležitý pro synchronizaci hodin s vnější fotoperiodou, proteiny PER, DBT a CYS, kter0 jsou složkami vlastního oscilátoru hodin, a enzym aaNAT, jehož působením vznikají látky synchronizující cirkadiánní rytmy v různých částech těla. Všechny uvedené proteiny se též společně vyskytují ve dvou neuronech frontálního ganglia a v menších skupinách v některých dalších neuronech CNS (cs)
