Description	Poprvé byla studována ultrastruktura ozbrojeného cirru, samčího kopulačního orgánu, u tasemnice čeledi Echinophallidae, Paraechinophallus japonicus (Yamaguti, 1934), pomocí skanovací a transmisní elektronové mikroskopie. Na dorsální straně segmentů jsou přítomny dvě sady vysunovacích kopulačních orgánů u postranního okraje těla. S výjimkou koncové části, je cirrus pokryt velkými trny délky dlouhými až 40 µm složenými ze dvou částí. Poprvé u tasemnic byly pozorovány mikrovily na cirru tasemnice P. japonicus; trny přítomné na kopulačním orgánu mohou být typickým znakem (synapomorfií) tasemnic čeledi Echinophallidae. (cs) For the first time, the ultrastructure of the armed cirrus of an echinophallid cestode, Paraechinophallus japonicus (Yamaguti, 1934), has been studied using scanning and transmission electron microscopy. Two sets of protrusible copulatory organs are present on the dorsal side of each proglottid near the lateral margin of the strobila. Except for the terminal part, the cirrus is covered with large spines (up to 40 µm long) composed of two parts. Microvilli on the cirrus of P. japonicus are reported for the first time in the Cestoda, while the spines on the cirrus may represent an synapomorphy of echinophallids.
