Description	The article describes the preparation of the soil samples for gas chromatography/mass spectrometry detection of bacterial fatty acids. It also contains their ion specifications for MS-MS scanning mode and other details needed for succesfull measuring of specific fatty acids in the extensive and disturbing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon backround signal.Used technique was succesfull in distinguishing at least eleven fatty acids in heavily creosote-contaminated soil samples. (en) Článek popisuje přípravu vzorků zemin pro analýzu bakteriálních mastných kyselin pro plynovou chromatografii s hmotnostně spektrometrickou koncovkou. Obsahuje specifikaci iontů pro skenování v MS-MS módu a další podrobnosti potřebné pro úspěšné měření specifických mastných kyselin v prostředí, kde jsou vysoké koncentrace polycyklických aromatických uhlovodíků , které vytvářejí rušivý signál v pozadí. Technika byla úspěšně použita pro rozlišení minimálně jedenácti mastných kyselin ve vzorcích zemin silně znečištěných kreozotem. (cs)
