| - The aim of this study was to assess the effect of cypermethrin [(R,S)-?-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (1RS)-cis,tra-3-(2,2-dicholorovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylate] on common carp (Cyprinus carpio). The effect was assessed on the basis of the results of haematological and biochemical examination of a control and an experimental group exposed to Alimethrin 10 EC pesticide preparation (active substance 100 g.l-1 of cypermethrin) in a concentration of 29.1 #g.l-1. The experimental group showed significantly higher values (p < 0.01) of erythrocyte count (RBC), glucose (GLU), creatinkinase (CK), lactate (LACT) and significantly lower values (p < 0.01) of mean erythrocyte volume (MCV), erythrocyte haemoglobin (MCH), total protein (TP), albumins (ALB), total globulins (GLOB), ammonia (NH3), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and alkalic phosphatase (ALP) compared to the control group. Also, the relative and absolute count of lymphocyte was a significant (p < 0.01) decreased and a significant increase

- Cílem prace bylo zhodnotit účinek cypermethrinu [(R,S)-?-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (1RS)-cis,tra-3-(2,2-dichlorovinyl)-2,2-dimethyl cyclopropane carboxylate] na kapra obecného (Cyprinus carpio L.). Účinek byl posuzovan na základě výsledků porovnaní hematologického a biochemického vyšetření kontrolní a pokusné skupiny vystavené působení pesticidního přípravku Alimethrinu 10 CE (účinná látka 100 g.l-1 cypermethrinu) v koncentraci 29.1 #g.l-1. Pokusná skupina ukázala signifikantně vyšší hodnoty (p < 0.01) počtu erytrocytů (RBC), glukózy (GLU), kreatinkinázy (CK), laktátů (LACT) a signifikantně nižší hodnoty (p < 0.01) středního objemu erytrocytu (MCV), hemoglobin erytrocytu (MCH), celkových bílkovin (TP), albuminů (ALB), globulinů (GLOB), amoniaku (NH3), laktát dehydrogenázy (LDH) a alkalické fosfatázy (ALP) o proti kontrolní skupině. Rovněž absolutní a relativní počet lymfocytů byl signifikantně (p < 0.01) snížen a signifikantně zvýšen v relativním a absolutním počtu vývojových forem neutrofilní (cs)
