| - Juvenile rainbow trout (n = 10) at a weight of 223 # 12.5 g, having been exposed to Delor 103 intoxication for 120 hours, were subjected to evaluation of the basic haematological indices (red blood cell count, haematocrit, haemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, mean corpuscular haemoglobin, mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration) and some biochemical indices of the blood plasma (total protein, glucose, inorganic phosphate, total calcium, sodium, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, lactate dehydrogenase). The fish were kept in flow-through fibre-glass tanks at a water temperature of 14.5oC, dissolved oxygen 13 mg l-1, O2 saturation 125 %, pH 6.6, total hardness 4oN, NH4+ - N < 0.01 mg l-1 , NO3 - N 2.5 mg l-1,and CODMn 5.8 mg O2 l-1. Delor 103, administered by the i.p.at a concentration of 50 mg in 0.5 ml of sunflower oil, caused an increase in the red blood cell count (1.35 # 0.049 vs. 1.13 # 0.038 T l-1, P = 0.05), haematocrit (0.517 # 0.019 vs. 0.417 # 0.
