  • Each enterprise has its own specific culture. If the corporate culture is set appropriately, it has a positive influence not only on the employees, but also on the customers, and it affects corporate strategy and supports the enterprise's aims achievement as well. Last but not least, the corporate culture contributes to enterprise efficiency and performance. The care about corporate culture becomes an important trend in today's global society for these reasons. The article has been created within the project of the Grant Agency of the University of South Bohemia numbered GAJU 039/2013/S ?Human resources management of small and medium-sized enterprises?. The article has been based on the data obtained during the last years of cooperation with students, on the data from their theses and the data obtained within the framework of the project. Our article deals with selected aspects of corporate culture in small and medium-sized enterprises within the defined region. The main aim of this paper is an identification, analysis and evaluation of selected dimensions of corporate culture in small and medium-sized enterprises and the determination of their importance for small and medium-sized enterprise management. Further we aimed at statistical analysis of the causal effect of each individual dimension in selected categories of small and medium-sized enterprises.
