| Description
| - The main objective is to describe a new simulator supporting cooperation of small businesses' owners and local authorities in the area of destination management. In the Czech Republic, there is a persisting lack of trust between local entrepreneurs, their official representatives (e.g. the Chamber of Commerce) and local authorities responsible for regional development planning and development. This leads to a need of specific support in this area. Our prior work has been focused on development of computer simulators supporting management in general (e.g. Mildeova & Vojtko, 2005, 2006, Heskova & Vojtko, 2007, Heskova, Vojtko & Siaba, 2008). We have been working on these issues from various perspectives - like system dynamics and systems thinking approach and agent based modelling. The supporting role of simulators in management problems is covered quite well by many well known authors - e.g. Senge, 1994 and Sterman, 2000. - Hlavním cílem tohoto příspěvku je popsat nový simulátor podporující kooperaci mezi vlastníky malých podniků a místních orgánů veřejné správy a samosprávy v oblasti destinačního managementu.V České republice je totiž mezi podnikateli, jejich oficiálními zástupci (např. Hospodářská komora) a místními orgány veřejné správy a samosprávy odpovědnými za regionální rozvoj značná nedůvěra, což vede k potřebě specifické podpory v této oblasti. Náš přístup spočívá v použití simulátoru destinačního managementu v prostředí NetLogo 4.0 právě k podpoře spolupráce mezi uvedenými zájmovými skupinami. Simulátor vychází z multiagentního přístupu a předpokládáme v něm virtuální region, ve kterém lze ovlivňovat vybrané parametry, například zacílení na turisty a jejich příliv do regionu. Na základě počátečního nastavení a struktury modelu pak lze sledovat pravděpodobné dopady různých rozhodnutí - například využití kapacit, příjmy rezidentů, změny v zaměstnanosti i mobilitě.
