| - Fundamentální rámec tvoří Spielbergerova %22Trait-State%22 teorie úzkosti, která říká, že osoby skórující vysoce v úzkosti jako rysu percipují stresové situace jako více ohrožující a odpovídají na takovéto situace vyšší elevací stavové úzkosti, než osoby skórující nízko v rysové úzkosti. Členky českého národního týmu v házené (N=24) vyplnily škálu úzkosti jako rysu (T-Anxiety) z STAI dva dny před utkáním. Rovněž odpovídaly na STAI S-Anxiety a CSAI bezprostředně před důležitým a tréninkovým utkáním a po něm (jedna hra tréninková, jedna důležitá). Ačkoliv hráčky s vysokou T-úzkostí vykazovaly vyšší zvýšení S-úzkosti a úkolově irelevantních kognicí, tento predikovaný interakční efekt byl významný pouze pro úkolově irelevantní kognice v důležité hře, nikoli ve hře tréninkové. Nálezy jsou diskutovány v kontextu teorií úzkosti, motivace a kontroly činnosti. (cs)
- A fundamental tenet of Spielberger's Trait-State Anxiety Theory is that persons high in trait anxiety (T-Anxiety) perceive stressful situations in which they are evaluated as more threatening, and respond to such situations with greater elevations in state anxiety (S-Anxiety), than persons low in- T-Anxiety. Members of the Czech National Female Handball Team (N = 24) completed the T-Anxiety scale of the State-Trait Anxiety inventory (STAI) two days before a practice game. They also responded to the STAI S-Anxiety scale and the Competitive State Anxiety inventory (CSAI) Immediately before and after the practice game and a competitive game that was played 1 week later. The Cognitive interference Questionnaire (CIQ) was administered immediately following both games. The Anxiety scales all correlated negatively with game performance, but only the CSAI correlations were significant.
