  • Paper presents a new alternative method for evaluation of interference patterns recording the light beam deflection in cylindrically symmetrical phase objects. The method is applicable for digitising and evaluation of complicated interference patterns containing heavily distorted, double or closed interference fringes. Developed algorithm and procedure were applied to a complex interference pattern taken in the pinch discharge burning in deuterium and then used for calculation of electron density values in the discharge channel. Paper also discusses influence of the phase shift deformation outside the region under study on the accuracy of results and on electron density estimation inside the shock wave of the pinch. The calculation of electron temperature in the discharge channel was performed providing kinetic and magnetic pressures equilibrium. All calculations had been performed in the MATLAB computing environment.

  • Článek předkládá novou alternativní metodu zpracování interferogramu, zaznamenaného světelným svazkem ve válcově symetrických fázových objektech. Metoda je aplikovatelná k digitalizaci a výpočtu komplikovaných interferenčních vzorů obsahujících silně deformované, větvící se nebo uzavřené interferenční proužky. Vyvinutý algoritmus a procedura byly aplikovány ke komplexnímu interferenčnímu vzoru odpovídajícímu pinčovému výboji, hořícímu v deuteriu. Poté byla stanovena hustota elektronů v kanálu výboje za předpokladu rovnováhy kinetického a magnetického tlaku. Všechny výpočty byly prováděny v prostředí MATLABu. (cs)
