Description	Pomocí telemetrických sond implantovaných do břišní dutiny byl měřen cirkadiánní rytmus tělní teploty rypoše obřího (Cryptomys mechowi). Tělesná teplota byla nízká, což je důsledek nízkého metabolismu charakteristického pro tuto čeleď hlodavců. Přestože optický systém tohoto druhu je podstatně degenerován, byla u tohoto druhu byla zjištěna pravidelná cirkadiánní fluktuace teploty.
