  • Nitrification, ammonification and N assimilation were measured in laboratory experiments in litter, organic and mineral soils from Šumava spruce forest. The goal of the study was to determine temperature dependency of the processes and to compare their potential rates in the Plešné and Čertovo lake watershed. The processes of N transformation run at 0°C and only slightly increased with temperature. N mineralization potential (NH4 + NO3) expressed per unit area (m2) was higher than N assimilation potential in the Čertovo lake watershed while N assimilation prevailed N mineralization potential in the Plešné lake watershed.

  • V laboratorních experimentech byla měřena rychlost nitrifikace, amonifikace a asimilace N v opadu, organickém a minerálním horizontu půd ze smrkových porostů na Šumavě. Cílem studia bylo stanovit teplotní závislost těchto procesů a porovnat jejich potenciální rychlost v povodí Plešného a Čertova jezera. Biochemická transformace N probíhala i při teplotách 0o C a s teplotou se ve většině případů zvyšovala nevýznamně. V přepočtu na jednotku plochy výrazně převažovala biochemická transformace N (potenciální mineralizace N (NH4 + NO3) a asimilace N) v povodí Čertova jezera nad biochemickou transformací v povodí Plešného jezera. Z toho se dá usuzovat na rychlejší obrat N v povodí Čertova jezera a na větší nebezpečí vyplavování N z půdy. (cs)
