  • In this work, we monitor changes in nutritional value of grains after treatment with low-temperature plasma discharge. The aim is to modify the effects of low-temperature plasma discharge in order to find an optimal method of treatments of corn in terms of nutritional parameters. Triticale from common farm was chosen as an experimental grain crop. There were determined the following parameters: dry matter, ash, crude fibre (using the ANKOM Fibre), fat (by Soxhlet) and the content of crude protein. It was found, that the changes in the treatment of grain with plasma discharge didn't significantly have the effect on their nutritional value. The evaluation of dry matter in crop samples was significant. The dry matter was higher in samples which were exposed to plasma discharge for longer period of time.
