| - V příspěvku jsou uvedeny vybrané ukazatele masné užitkovosti 98 býků českého strakatého skotu chovaného v horských podmínkách Šumavy nad 720 m n.m.. Výkrm byl realizován ve stáji na hluboké podestýlce. Krmná dávka byla tvořena po celý rok senáží. Soubor býků českého strakatého skotu byl roztříděn podle genotypu na tři plemenné skupiny - C100, C75-85R (CxR) a C75-85A (CxA). Nejvyšší živou hmotnost při porážce vykázala skupina C100 na úrovni 650 kg v průměrném věku 726 dnů při hmotnosti jatečného těla 363,8 kg. Naproti tomu nejhorších výsledků dosáhla plemenná skupina CxA. Pro porovnání byl dále vytvořen soubor z býků holštýnského plemene (14 kusů) vykrmených ve shodných podmínkách (H100). Býci tohoto plemene dosáhli nejvyšší živé hmotnosti před porážkou (664,6 kg), ale při nejvyšším věku (743 dnů). Dále byly prokázány statisticky významné rozdíly v masné užitkovosti po jednotlivých otcích ? nejlepší výsledky prokázali potomci po býkovi BO-837. - There are chosen indicators of meat performance of 98 bulls of Czech spotted cattle bred in elevation above 720 m above sea-level in the mountain region of Šumava presented in the article. The fattening was realized in a barn with a deep litter. The feed ration consisted of heylage throughout the year. The bulls were divided into three groups according to their genotype - C100, C75-85R (CxR) and C75-85A (CxA). The highest live weight at slaughter was achieved in the group C100 with 650 kg with the average age of 726 days and the weight of the carcasses of 363,8 kg. On the other hand, the worst results were achieved in the group CxA. For comparison a group of 14 bulls of the breed Holstein was created (H100), which was fattened in the same conditions. The bulls achieved their highest live weight before slaughter (664,6 kg), but at the highest age (743 days). Statisticaly significant differences were proven in the meat performance after individual fathers ? the best results were documented with the off
