  • We analysed the relations of estimated breeding values (EBV) of 315 German Holstein sires to their genotypes in growth hormone gene (GH1), growth hormone receptor gene (GHR) and acylCoA-diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 (DGAT1). The strong relation of DGAT1 K232A to the estimated breeding values for milk production traits has beeen confirmed, when allele DGAT1 (K) was connected with higher milk fat yield, milk fat and milk protein content, while allele DGAT1 (A) increased milk yield and milk protein yield. The effect of DGAT1 genotype explained from 4.70% variability of EBVs for fat yield to 31.90% of variability of EBVs for fat content. The evaluation of GH1 127 Leu/Val and GHR 257 SNP polymorphisms did not reveal an association of their polymorphism with EBVs for milk production traits, except the EBVs of GHR(G)/GHR(G) homozygotes for fat yield, which are significant lower. The effect of GH1 and GHR genotype explained only negligible portion of variability of EBVs (R< 1.00% in most cases).

  • U 315 býků německého holštýna jsme analyzovali vztahy mezi odhadovanými plemennými hodnotami (EBV) a jejich genotypy u genu pro růstový hormon (GH1), genu pro recetopr růstového hormonu (GHR) a genu pro acylCoA-diacylglycerol acyltransferasu 1 (DGAT1). Byl potvrzen silný vztah mezi DGAT1 K232A k odhadovaným plemenným hodnotám pro znaky mléčné užitkovosti, kdy alela DGAT1 (K) byla spojena s vyšší výtežností mléčného tuku, obsahem tuku a proteinu v mléce, zatímco alela DGAT1 (A) způsobovala nárůst dojivosti a výtěžnosti mléčného proteinu. Vliv DGAT1 genotypu byl v rozmezí od 4.70% variability EBVs pro výtěžnost tuku do 31.90% variabilitu EBVs pro obsah tuku. Vyhodnocení SNP polymorfismů GH1 127 Leu/Val a GHR 257 neodhaliloasociaci těchto polymorfismů s EBVs pro znaky mléčné užitkovosti, vyjma EBVs u homozygotů GHR(G)/GHR(G) a výtěžnosti tuku, které jsou významně nižší. Vliv genotypu GH1 a GHR vykazoval pouze zanedbatelný podíl na variabilitě EBVs (R< 1.00% ve většině případů). (cs)
