  • Cílem práce bylo získání přehledu o koncentraci jodu v surovém mléce jako výchozí informace pro optimalizaci obsahu jodu v mléce jako komponent lidské výživy.Koncentrace v surovém kravském mléce byla stanovena v 187 chovech v šedesátisedmi okresech ČR metodou Sandell-Kolthoff. Průměrná koncentrace jodu v 187 sběrných vzorcích z různých lokalit ČR byla 323,7 g Il-1 mléka s variačním rozpětím <10 až 2512 g Il-1, což odráží významné rozdíly saturace dojených krav jodem. Průměrná koncentrace jodu převyšuje 2,5x hodnoty zjišťované v letech 1997-1999 před zahájením plošné suplementace jodu a je vyšší než evropský standart. Ve 4,3 % chovů vykazujících < 20 g Il-1 mléka byl zjištěn hluboký nedostatek jodu v objemných krmivech a absence jeho suplementace.V 18,7 % chovů s obsahem jodu < 500 g Il-1 mléka.Na základě dosažených výsledků je nezbytná regulace nabídky minerálních krmných přísad obsahujících jod dle fyziologické potřeby a produkce a podmínkách prostředí.
