Description
| - Social exclusion, according to Analysis of Socially Excluded Roma Localities and Communities in the Czech Republic and the absorption capacity of entities operating in this area (2006, 4)1, is %22a process under which individuals, groups of individuals or the community significantly impeded or completely prevented access to resources, positions and opportunities that allow participation in social, economic and political activities of the majority society.%22 Analysis (2006) also indicates which populations are most at risk of social exclusion. One of those groups are ethnic minorities, in the Czech Republic those are mainly Romanies. Last but not least, I converged elements that themselves Romanies identified as a factor which helps them to manage the situation. In describing this, I will draw on the results of the project GAČR No. 403/07/0336, the principal investigator was Mgr. Davidová, PhD. Its name was %22Quality of life, median life expectancy and healthy aspect of the health determinants for Romanies in the Czech (and Slovak) Republic%22 (the execution time from 2007 to 2009). Further, I will rely on data of Kajanová's dissertation work (2009), and outputs from my own investigation (probe) into the social support, which has been realized in Písek in 2009.The expected output of this essay will indicate those areas which respondents selected to help to cope with their situation and life in socially excluded locations. I realize that this assertion is not possible to generalize. But it is not a goal of this work
