  • Oxide ceramic superconductors on basis of cupper oxides are employed as model systems for the study of thermodynamics, phase relations, stoichiometry, reaction kinetics and unconventional glass formation. Detailed thermodynamic data are tabulated for both yttrium and bismuth phases. Quenching procedures are described including their studies by unconventional thermal methods (emanation thermal analysis). Detailed portrayal of research methods is revealed including phase formation and reactivity, glass formation particularly in bismuth based phase, Correlation between glass crystallization and superconductivity is shown
