Description
| - Analysis of the genetic diversity was focused on A, B, C, DRB1, DQB1 loci, B-C and DRB1-DQB1 associations, haplotypes and fenotypes occurence and contribution of each cooperating donor center (allele groups). Results are needed to streamline recruiting activities and for search methods innovation, especially because of some donors' insufficient typing level. According the analysis results the registry shows the standard distribution of the Caucasian population, e.g. the most frequent B-C association are B*07-C*07 and B*08-C*07 and the most frequent DRB1-DQB1 associations are DRB1*15-DQB1*06 and DRB1*03-DQB1*02. The most interested for possible future use are results of promiscuous B allelic groups (like B*51, B*27 or B*18). The association is quite often strongly dependent on the haplotype. Between donor centers there are no big differences for the most frequent phenotypes, for haplotypes slightly so.
