| Description
| - The still growing number of voices for ARTIC TTS, connected with quiet complex voice data file build process, compelled us to find ways of the voice build automatization and the creation of robust and reliable build versioning management. We have chosen to use the free and opensouce CruiseControl project (homepage http://cruisecontrol.sourceforge.net/index.html), giving us universal and extensible framework for continuous integration and automated build process. Although the CruiseControl framework was designed to meet the needs of %22standard%22 software projects, and in itself does not provide tools to build any voice data files, its open code and modular design allowed to extend the project in the required way. The extensions were implemented as modules, connected into the framework through the interface provided for it, and become the integral part of the framework in successive steps.

Vytvořené moduly výrazným způsoben rozšiřují možnosti frameworku CruiseControl, což umožní jeho nasazení a využití k automatizaci procesů i v jiných oblastech, pro než nebyl původně tento framework navržen a určen. | - Rozšiřující pluginy vyžadují, stejně jako celý framework CruiseControl, běhové prostředí jazyka Java verze 1.5 a vyšší, jsou tedy nezávislá na operačním systému. Nároky na hardware jsou dány především projektem, k jehož automatizaci se framework CruiseControl (a tedy i rozšiřující pluginy) použijí, samy o sobě nejsou nikterak výrazně náročné ani na paměť ani na výkon procesoru.
