  • The software implements two well-known macroscopic non-Newtonian models (the Carreau-Yasuda model and the modified Cross model) for the numerical simulation of steady laminar flow through a 3D computational domain. The fluid motion is described by the non-linear system of the Navier-Stokes (NS) equations formulated for an incompressible generalized Newtonian fluid. The space discretization of system of the NS equations is based on the finite volume method formulated for unstructured computational meshes. The fluid's shear-dependent viscosity is determined from both mentioned non-Newtonian models. The software inputs consist of node coordinates of the unstructured hexahedral computational mesh and several parameters, which are needed for both non-Newtonian models and should describe the rheological properties of the fluid.
