Description
  • This paper presents the numerical computation of the 2D transonic and supersonic inviscid flows through the test Ron-Ho-Ni channel. The mathematical models of transonic and supersonic inviscid flows are described by the conservative system of the Euler equations. For the numerical solution of this system the cell-centred finite volume formulation of the explicit two-step MacCormack scheme with Jamesonś artificial dissipation and the Causonś simplified TVD MacCormack scheme were used. The comparison of the results obtained by means of these two explicit numerical schemes used for the calculation of stacionary transonic and supersonic inviscid flows through the test channel with a circular bump is shown in this paper.
