  • Psychomotor skills are essential for the execution of many motor tasks. This paper reports on the development of the scale on ball-handling skills by means of Rasch analysis. In this study, the subjects were children 9 to 11 years old in urban public schools in the Czech Republic. Three hundred children participated. The items were designed by means of the model of qualitative analysis of the movement from which valid inference on the content validity of the scale could be made. To assess the construct validity, test performance for all children on the scale was subjected to analysis for fit to the theoretical Rasch measurement model. The scale developed in this study describes the amount of ball-handling skills of the children. The results indicate that this scale is relatively homogenous with respect to its content. To indicate the replicability of items if the scale is given to another sample, the item reliability index was provided. The scale has a good reliability.

  • Motorické dovednosti představují velmi důležitou součást lidského života a způsobilost používat motorické dovednosti je základním rysem lidské existence.Dovednosti s míčem jsou pak nezbytné i při výběru sportovních talentů ve sportovních hrách.Pro testování dovedností s míčem bylo navrženo mnoho motorických testů, testových baterií a posuzovacích škál. Nikde však nejsou diagnostikovány obecnější předpoklady pro manipulaci s míčem, které by zahrnovaly nejen dovednosti, (byť v minimální míře), ale též koordinační schopnosti, které jsou pro realizaci nezbytné. Z tohoto důvodu jsme se zabývali myšlenkou navrhnout takový diagnostický nástroj. V předchozí studii jsme navrhli (cs)
