  • Zájem o automatické optické kontroly zejména v automobilovém průmyslu nebyl nikdy větší. Hlavními řídícími faktory pro výrobce DPS jsou: kvalita a redukce výrobních nákladů. Z tohoto důvodu se tento článek zaměřuje na limity a nedostatky moderních AOI systemů, obzvláště na tzv. falešné hlášení. Provedli jsme případovou studii založenou na reálných datech z automobilového průmyslu, která ukazuje, že 40% všech falešných hlášení je způsobeno prohnutím, smrštěním DPS, variací barev,oxidací,prachem a nebo podleptáním. V této praci jsou rovnež naznačeny trendy budoucího vývoje. (cs)
  • The interest in automated optical inspection (AOI), especially in automotive industry, has never been stronger. Manufacturers focus on quality and cost reduction is the primary driving factors. Thereby the focus of this article is concentrated on the performance, limits and drawbacks of modern AOI systems, especially on so called false calls. We performed a case study based on real data from automotive industry, showing that 40% of all false calls are caused by panel shrinkage and warpage, color variations, oxidation, dust and unattached foreign material, over- and under-etch. There are also shown trends of future developments.
