  • The objective of the study was to determine the effect of Fusarium strains inoculated on artificially harmed conventional corn hybrid (MONUMENTAL) on nutritional value, mycotoxin content and quality of fermentation process of corn silage subsequently prepared from this hybrid in comparison with untreated corn and its near isogenic Bt hybrid (MON 810). The inoculation was made in the growing crop in milk stage of maturity after harming the cops and stalks with a wire brush. The corn crops were grown, harvested and ensiled under identical conditions. Entire corn plants were harvested at the soft dough stage of maturity, and ensiled in microsilage tubes (approximately 6.5 kg per tube, 3 tubes per treatment) and fermented at 25 °C (+- 1°C) for 15 weeks.

  • Cílem studie bylo zjistit vliv Fusariových kmenů inokulovaných na uměle poškozené rostliny běžného hybridu kukuřice (MONUMENTAL) na nutriční hodnotu, obsah mykotoxinů a kvalitu fermentačního procesu kukuřičné siláže připravené z takového porostu ve srovnání se silážemi vyrobenými z neošetřeného porostu a z izogenního Bt hybridu (MON 810) Inokulace byla provedena na rostoucím porostu v mléčné zralosti po poškození palic a stonků drátěným kartáčem. Všechny tři skupiny byly pěstovány, sklizeny a silážovány za stejných podmínek. Kukuřice byla sklizena v mléčně voskové zralosti a zasilážována v mikrosilážních tubusech (přibližně 6,5 kg v tubusu, 3 tubusy ve skupině) a fermentována při 25°C (+-1°C) po dobu 15 týdnů. (cs)
