  • Součástí bezpečnostních systému celé řady států jsou tělesa „rozkročená“ mezi oblast vojenskou (kompetence ministerstev obrany) a oblast policejní (kompetence ministerstev vnitra, vnitřní bezpečnosti nebo spravedlnosti). Obvykle se jedná o sbory označované jako policie (gendarmerie) obvykle sbory vojenské policie. Příspěvek ve stručnosti mapuje některé platformy pro mezinárodní spolupráci ve sledované oblasti. Největší pozornost je věnována vzájemně se překrývajícím strukturám: European Gendarmerie Force a Association of the European and Mediterranean Police Forces a Gendarmeries with Military Status.

  • Within security systems of many countries exist a bodies that are „straddled“ between the military area (competence of ministries of defence) and the area of „police activities“ (competence of ministries of interior, justice or internal security). This corps are usualy known as the gendarmerie, but into some extent we can talk also about the military police. This article briefly surveys some platform for international cooperation in the respective area. The greatest attention is paid to two overlapping structures: European Gendarmerie Force and the Association of the European and Mediterranean Police Forces and Gendarmeries with Military Status.
