Description	The paper deals with the primary research, aimed at residents of the tourist region of Jeseníky - East, realized in the autumn 2013. The principal aim of this paper is to determine the attitudes of citizens to their own lifelong learning sector of tourism services. A secondary goal is to determine what form and type of the educational institution would give local residents priority to lifelong learning. The survey was implemented by participatory observation and the questionnaire. The first part of this paper is devoted to the current state of the research questions in the area, resulting from historical roots and the attention is also paid to the issue of the research questions, methodology and research techniques formulated in the following chapters. The next section introduces the objectives and defined the material and research results. The last part of this paper includes collected data specifying the resulting specialization of education of the population, its form and content, which could be applied to corporate training in tourism.
