Description	As a result of membership of Czech Republic in the EU is increasing of importance of city and village management. The article deals with customer service at the municipal level. Determination of the appropriate level of customer service is an essential task in the context of cities and villages. An important part of the management process is the identification, selection and evaluation of pre-transaction, transaction and post-transaction elements of customer service. The paper also deals with the evaluation of the basic elements of customer service among selected cities in Moravian-Silesian Region. The part of the article is an analysis of the transport infrastructure of cities and it is focused on passenger transport, which is a prerequisite for setting of an appropriate level of customer service.
