Description	Presentation of results of research focused on the (multi)functionalization of polyester woven and knitted fabrics with the aim to achieve high added value properties of finished textiles with barrier protective effects by combination of their construction with special final processing: hydrophobic, flameproof, antibacterial, antistatic and insect-repellent. Utilizing of new special nano-based textile auxiliaries for enhanced protective effects with prolonged permanency in end-use application and maintenance. Final treatments of protective clothing and upholstery fabrics. (en) Desi sunt comercializate fibre avand proprietatile functionale inerente, totusi finisarea chimica ramane o tehnologie cu utilizare larga in imbracamintea de protectie, datorita eficientei costurilor si versatilitatii technologiei. In multe cazuri, cerintele functionale nu pot fi indeplinite numai de catre fibra si structura. Finisarea este utilizata pentru a imbunatati proprietatile de protecie ale structurii textile, ea fiindunul din factorii determinanti ai proprietatilor textilelor tehnice. Toate procesele de finisare au rolul de a creste atractivitatea si utilitatea produsului textil.
