Description	The frost resistance of winter wheat is one of the desirable traits, which is important for stability of grain yield in many countries. In middle Europe, exactly in Czech Republic, wheat breeder can select the genotypes with lower frost than in Russia or Canada, but growing of varieties without any frost resistance is very hazardous. Ve střední Evropě resp. v České republice, mohou šlechtitelé volit nižší úroveň tohoto znaku než např.. v Kanadě nebo Rusku, ale pěstování odrůd s nedostatečnou mrazuvzdorností je velice rizikové. Kritická zima 2002/03 ukázala důležitost tohoto znaku, kdy bylo nutné 20% porostů ozimé pšenice zaorat (cs)
