Description
| - The ultrasonic velocities were measured on commercial types of PZT ceramics as APC841, APC850, and APC856, at room temperature. The comparison of the ultrasound velocities dependence on electric bias filed was made for poled/unpoled soft ceramics. The ultrasonics pulse-echo technique was used in our experiment. The high bias filed was applied on disk samples by the high voltage amplifier type Trek 610D, using a special setup and sample holder. The sound velocity was found to change drastically near the coercive filed for a PZT ceramics, where the velocity of longitudinal waves decreases with an increasing filed while the velocity of shear waves increases, which is caused by the change of the elastic anisotropy under influence of the depolariziation filed. The consequent change of the piezoelectric contribution to effective elastic constant decreases the velocity of longitudinal waves and at the same time increases the velocity of shear waves around the coercitive field.

- Rychlosti ultrazvuku byly změřeny pro komerční vzorky PZT keramiky APC841, APC850 a APC856 při pokojové teplotě. Srovnání bylo provedeno pro polarizované a nepolarizované měkké keramiky. Použito bylo techniky pulzní odezvy. Ultrazvukový systém je složen z modulů Matec Instruments, Inc. Zaznamenávána byla doba odezvy a čas průletu pomocí digitálního osciloskopu. Vysoké předpětí bylo na vzorky aplikováno zesilovačem Trek 610D pomocí speciálního nastavení a držáku vzorku. Zjištěna byla výrazná změna v blízkosti koercitivního pole PZT keramik, kde se rychlost podélných vln snižovala při zvyšujícím se poli, zatímco se rychlost střižných vln zvyšovala, což bylo způsobeno změnou elastické anizotropie právě vlivem depolarizačního pole. Následná změna těchto piezoelektrických příspěvků k efektivní elastické konstantě snižuje rychlost podélných vlna zároveň zvyšuje rychlost vln střižných vln v okolí koercitivního pole. (cs)
