Description
  • Behavior of fabric under deformation is important, but measuring is too complicated and time-consuming. As well recognition and description of internal geometry of woven fabric is proposed for two situations: before and after shear deformation. Presented model in this paper has two abilities. The first of it is evaluating geometrical parameters of structure of plain weave fabric from yarns count and sett and from weight of yarns in unit cell of area separately. Second is extending this model for evaluating all-important geometrical parameters of woven fabric during shear deformation. Experimental results of measuring two different kinds of plain weave fabrics, which correspond to exterior properties of woven fabric are compared with predicted values. It was recognised that this model is suitable for fabric properties prediction both before and after deformation. As well as the results showed that critical shear angle corresponds with packing density of yarns used in fabric.

  • Chování tkaniny při smykové deformaci je důležité, ale příslušné experimentální metody jsou komplikované a časově náročné. Proto byla navržena analýza a popis vnitřní geometrie tkaniny ve dvou situacích – před a po smykové deformaci. Navržený model umožňuje jednak posoudit geometrii struktury tkaniny pomocí její základních parametrů (jemnost nití, dostavy, hmotnost nití ve strukturální jednotce), jednak změny geometrie tkaniny v průběhu smykové deformace. Výsledky ukazují i to, že kritický smykový úhel odpovídá zaplnění použité příze. Mezi vnějšími parametry tkaniny a její vnitřní geometrickou strukturou byl nalezena významná korelace, takže predikce vnitřní geometrie je možná. (cs)
