Description	Aim of this paper is to answer the question: „Will this situation change – if it will change at all - in countries newly joined European Union, considering their integration in significantly bigger competition environment of economically integrated Europe:“ Czech Republic which joined European Union was chosen to proof this fact. In four years time period came out that many companies, which were monopolistic before joining EU, became oligopolies mainly oligopolies with dominant firm. It is well known economic theory which says that oligopolies in comparison with monopolies have much less possibilities to abusing their position. Situation is within the frame of the oligopoly more competitive. (en) Deset nových zemí vstoupilo v roce 2004 a dvě v roce 2007 do Evropské unie, aby překlenulo disparitu vážící se na potřebu hromadné výroby v souvislosti s použitím nových technologií, které se při malém množství produkce nevyplácejí, to na jedné straně, a na druhé pak nízkou úrovní domácí kupní síly danou nejen nevelkými důchody obyvatel těchto nově přistoupivších států ve srovnání s nevyspělejšími státy EU, ale především malým počtem spotřebitelů, resp. obyvatel těchto států. Do třetice byla tímto krokem řešena problematika monopolizace jejich trhu přinášející řadu negativ. (cs)
