Description	There are many definitions of Risk and equations for its computation, but they are not unique in standards, papers etc. It is confusing and it could negatively affect decision making process about corrective actions. Most of definitions agree that the risk is a function (combination) of expectation and consequences, the others describe risk only as one of these factors. The paper shows the risk parameter types and differences between them and their influences on the computation and the result. It’s compared the usage of count, probability, frequency and rate. Paper shows how to interpret the risk value, where the analyst is subject to possible to make a mistake and how is possible to make computation model clearer and more accurate. Newly it is introduced the term “risk rate” that should not be equal to the term “risk”.
