Description	The article deals with problems of the distributed production. It focuses primarily on the electrical power production. Its operation is considered for the given market conditions. This article describes the situation from view of the marketing tool. It also explores possible nonconformities and their importance with help of quality tools. The presented recommendations can be given with regard to the specifics of use for each type of the distributed production. This article aim is to contribute to the competitiveness of electrical power suppliers. A general terminology was chosen only considering an interdisciplinary theme and the different meanings of some terms in the various fields.
