Description
| - For several decades, holographic interferometry performs an indispensable role among the measuring techniques. It is an universal technique that can be adapted to a wide range of measurements. Firstly, holograms were recorded analogically and then interferograms were evaluated by the experimenter. Afterwards, the interferograms were evaluated by computers and nowadays the hologram can be recorded electronically on the CCD or CMOS array and object wave is reconstructed using sophisticated algorithms. This whole process requires a lot of mathematical operations. Some of them could be proceeded automatically and others require an operator intervention. For this purpose an application, which solves all processing steps one by one, was developed. Beyond the data processing and numerical calculations the application uses many graphical tools for data visualization and analysis. The application was developed using MATLAB and its functions as well as physical background, will be described in this paper.
