Description
  • In the contribution, the physical model, and consequently the numerical model of the water flow in an underground fracture, is derived from the 3D Navier-Stokes equations and the continuity equation. In the first two sections, there are the governing partial differential equations and the boundary conditions of the physical model constructed. The mixed hybrid finite element method is applied to the model in the third section. The outcome of the contribution is the algebraic equation system
