  • In this time, ultrasonic welding of plastics is very often use technology for joining of plastic parts because of high speed process and very good accuracy of weld. Because of high-speed process, a cycle of welding time is shorter, this enables us to produce more parts, and production in large series with reduces the final cost of products. A lot of applications are use in automotive industry, in aerospace and medical too. The final weld strength and quality of joint is given by some important parameters. Primarily they are settings of welding parameters and kind of welded material. Each plastic material must to have so-called energy director joint, which is suitable for ultrasonic welding and is different for each material. This paper deals with optimal settings of one welding parameter called weld amplitude in depends on weld strength of plastics parts from polyamide.
