  • Material marked like TWIP 1200 (TWinning Induced Plasticity) belong to the family of so-called high-strength steels but has a unique properties. Due to a massive twinning during deformation this material exhibits extraordinary elongation with still very high mechanical properties.This paper deals with evaluation of temperature loading onto the mechanical properties of TWIP 1200. Such testing and its conditions (170°C during the time of 20 min) correspond to the real condition during baking in paint-shop. Was evaluated not only influence of temperature onto final mechanical properties but also influence of pre-deformation of samples. Results generalize experiences of this material and can be used for numerical simulation
