  • %22Carbon coatings are characterized by high hardness, low coefficient of friction, chemical inertness.   • %22Uhlíkové povlaky jsou charakterizovány vysokou tvrdostí, nízký koeficient tření, chemická netečnost. Všechny tyto vlastnosti , spolu s biokompatibilitou dobře splňují kritéria dobrých biomateriálů pro aplikace v ortopedii, kardiovaskulárních a dentiostických. Bylo prověřeno, že diamantová fáze v uhlíkových povlacích zaručuje vysokou otěru a krozivzdornost povlakovaných implantátů. Obvykle mnoho pozornosti je věnováno uhlíkovým povlakům na polymerním substrátu. Též se široce využívají biomedicínské oblasti. Byla stanovena vysoká biologická aktivita uhlíku [1]; tato skutečnost je přičítána autory tohoto článku k využití depozice uhlíkových povlaků na nanovláknové textilie. %22 (cs)
