| Description
| - Database is applicable to commercial nuclear power plants only, the OECD FIRE project exchanges fire data covering all operating modes including construction and decommissioning phases. Databases includes incipient fires as well as fully developed fires. Fires shall be included in the database if they are relevant to safety and also if the same type of fire has the potential to be relevant/significant for safety under different boundary conditions (such as different ventilation conditions, other plant operating states (POS), same components affected in other locations, etc.). Explosions not resulting in an open flame shall be excluded. Currently, the database contains 315 fire events, most of them quality assured. The events are from the period early 1975ies to 2007, with the bulk of the events in the period mid 1990ies to 2004.

- Databáze obsahuje pouze záznamy pocházející z energetických (komerčních),jaderných bloků. Požární záznamy se týkají všech fází života energetických bloků (výstavba, provoz, likvidace). Do databáze jsou zahrnuty pouze případy plně rozvinutých požárních událostí s vazbou na bezpečnost provozu bloku. Vazba evidovaných požárních událostí na bezpečnost provozu bloku nemusí být přímá. Jsou evidovány i požární události, které by bylo možné označit za bezpečnostně významné, avšak při jiných počátečních nebo provozních podmínkách (například v jiném provozním režimu). V databázi nejsou zahrnuty události typu exploze, které nemají za přímý následek vznik plamenného hoření. Současná databáze obsahuje záznamy o 315 požárních událostech z rozmezí roků 1975 až 2007 s převahou událostí v letech 1990 až 2004. (cs)
