Description
| - V rámci řešení grantového projektu byly studovány elektrochemické separační metody založené na selektivní elektrolýze s kontrolovaným potenciálem pracovní elektrody. Bylo experimentálně zjištěno elektrochemické chování vybraných zástupců štěpného materiálu (uran, thorium) a štěpných produktů (neodym, gadolinium) v taveninách LiF-NaF-KF, akronym FLINAK, a LiF-CaF2 v závislosti na experimentálním uspořádání, materiálu pracovní elektrody a složení nosné soli. Byly vyhodnoceny separační možnosti studovaných látek, stanoveny podmínky separace a v laboratorním měřítku úspěšně provedeny ověřovací experimenty seprace uranu jeho elektrolýzou z modelové směsi FLINAK-UF4-NdF3. - Within this grant project, electrochemical separation methods based on electrolysis with controled potential of working electrode were studied. Electrochemical behaviour of selected representants of fission material (uranium, thorium) and fission products (neodymium, gadolinium) in eutectic melts of LiF-NaF-KF (acronym FLINAK) and LiF-CaF2 was experimentally determined in dependence on experimental set-up, working electrode material and carrier salt composition. Separation possibilities of studied compounds were evaluated, separation conditions was established and verification experiments of uranium separation by electrolysis from model mixture FLINAK-UF4-NdF3 were realized.
