  • V ÚJV Řež byly v rámci EU projektu VOCALIST testovány vzorky typu SE(B) a SE(T), vyrobené z oceli TNR tlakovodních reaktorů provozovaných v západní Evropě (PWR). Hlavním cílem projektu bylo kvantifikovat vliv konstraintu na lomovou houževnatost, specielně vliv mělkosti trhliny, a vliv typu zatížení (tah vs. ohyb). Byl zjištěn posuv referenční Master Curve teploty T0 o cca 40 °C vlivem mělkosti trhliny, a bylo ověřeno, že k větší ztrátě konstraintu dochází při zatížení tahem než ohybem. Byly zkonstruovány J-Q locusy pro daný materiál ve výchozím a tepelně zpracovaném (uměle stárnutém) stavu. (cs)
  • In the frame of EU project VOCALIST, SE(B) and SE(T) specimens made of two reactor pressure vessel steels were tested and numerically evaluated at NRI Rez. The main aim of the VOCALIST project [1] was to quantify the constraint effect on fracture toughness for the steels mentioned, in particular, effect of shallow crack, loading mode and/or size effect on Master Curve reference temperature T0. At NRI Rez, a total of 79 small fracture specimens were tested, the specimens contained either shallow or deep cracks, and both tension and bending types of loading were examined. Smaller values of T0 for tension than for bending were found, both for deep and shallow cracks. J Q loci for selected temperatures were constructed. For the purpose of engineering assessment, using of lower bound curves of the J-Q locus for conservative fracture prediction is suggested.
