Description	Lone mothers are one of the most vulnerable groups at the labour market because, from an employer’s perspective, they seem less prospective and reliable due to family obligations. Their conditions for work-family balance are complicated as they have to meet the needs for a sufficient income and for the care of their children mostly by themselves. Research carried out recently produced data that allow for comparing the employment and social support needs and the real situation of lone mothers with those of mothers (and fathers) from two-parent families. The surveys provided data on both the real conditions and the attitudes on the studied topics of mothers and fathers from different family arrangements. (en) Osamělé matky jsou jednou z nejzranitelnějších skupin na trhu práce, protože se z pohledu zaměstnavatelů zdají méně perspektivní a spolehlivé v důsledku rodinných povinností. Jejich podmínky pro sladění práce a rodiny jsou komplikované, protože většinou samy musí zajistit dostatečný příjem i péči o děti. Data z nejnovějšího výzkumu umožňují porovnání potřeb zaměstnání a sociální ochrany a skutečné situace osamělých matek s úplnými rodinami. Šetření poskytla údaje o skutečných podmínkách a postojích k těmto tématům matek a otců z různých rodinných uspořádání. Šetření proběhla v ČR v r. 2005 a 2006. (cs)
