Description	In conditions of ArcelorMittal Ostrava a.s., a multi-purpose database model has been being developed. It is called TQ model and it mainly includes data from billet and slab production processes. TQ model includes data on quality of billets and slabs as well as partial results of subsequent processes, such as data from heating the slabs and their rolling and results of quality of the rolled coils. The article describes the history of TQ model, its possibilities and current conditions regarding the solution of the grant project. The subject of the grant project is implementation of new steel grades and optimizing of mechanical properties of rolled products.
