Description
  • This paper describes research time-depending change in the microstructure of Portland cement concrete. Recent concrete technologies, especially self-compacting concrete (SCC), high-performance concrete (HPC), etc. require additives and admixtures, which can enter the hydration reaction or more often support a subsequent recrystallization. The recrystallization products can have improving or deteriorative influence on concrete properties. The paper deals with concrete microstructure study using scanning electron microscope (SEM) method. The microstructures and differences in pore system of matured self-compacting concrete with commonly used additives are shown there. We investigated 40 samples of SCC with varied amount of additives (fly-ash, slag, silica-fume, fine grinding limestone), two types of fine aggregate and two types of coarse aggregate with polymer-carboxylate superplasticizer.

  • Příspěvek popisuje výzkum změn mikrostruktury betonu v závislosti na čase. Ačkoliv počáteční produkty hydratační reakce jsou relativně dobře známé, produkty dlouhodobé hydratace jsou objektem celosvětového výzkumu. Současná technologie betonu, zejména samozhutnitelný beton (SSC), vysokopevnostní beton (HPC), vyžadují příměsi a přísady, které mohou vstupovat do hydratační reakce nebo podporovat rekrystalizaci. Rekrystalizační produkty mohou mít na vlastnosti beton pozitivní nebo negativní vliv. Příspěvek ukazuje výzkum mikrostruktury betonu pomocí scanovací elektronové mikroskopie (SEM). Je tu prezentována mikrostruktura a změny v pórová struktuře samozhutnitelného betonu s běžně používanými příměsmi. Pro experiment jsme vyrobili 40 vzorků SSC s různým obsahem příměsí (popílek, struska, mikrosilika, jemně mletý vápenec), 2 typy jemného kameniva, 2 typy hrubého kameniva a superplastifikátor na bázi polykarboxylátu.
