Description	The based material for such fuel is screened coal, commercial grade - nut coal 2 (10 - 20 mm) and rough dross 1 (0 - 10 mm). In the first part, the grain size distribution dependence on the pelletizing result was examined. The test analysed the influenceof input coal substance grain size on the pellet strength. The next task of this work was to determine the influence of sulphur content, ash content and caloric value on the production of lignite pellets with biomass additive and to determine an optimal pellet formula in terms of basic technological coal analysis. Dry hydrate was used as an additive for desulphurization. Several tests were carried out with the pressed pellets (compressive strength, splitting tensile strength) which were supposed to prove sufficient strength of the produced pellets, depending on the applied pressing device. Burning tests were carried out with pellets produced both from screened coal types and fine small ones. (en) Základem paliva je hruboprach se zrněním 0-10 mm a ořech 2 zrnitosti 10-20 mm. V první části práce byla sledována závislost distribuce velikosti zrna na kvalitě pelet. V další části práce byla studován vliv obsahu síry, popela a výhřevnosti na kvalitu vyrobených pelet s přídavkem biomasy. Byla stanovena optimální receptura pro výrobu pelet. Jako odsiřovací aditivum byl použit hydrát. Byla provedena řada testů přípravy pelet různého složení a byly stanoveny jejich pevnostní charakteristiky. Byly realizovány na malých tepelných zdrojích spalovací zkoušky s vyrobenými typy pelet.
